Flood Story: Maori, New Zealand
Similarities of Gilgamesh's Flood & the Maori Flood:
-Both had leaders (Gilgamesh and Tane)
-Rafts were built for the people to stay on
-They brought people, food & animals
-Both boats had priests or some sort of relation to god
-Both stories had rain under for under 7 days
Differences of Gilgamesh's Flood & the Maori Flood:
-They happened in different places
-The Maori flood didn't land anywhere it just washed ashore after the flood died down
